the ( R A N K ) rules !!

Ranks are what keeps each character in check, depending on their skill and how they've been honed by each member. This thread contains the list of ranks and how to be able to obtain each rank.

Kvasir (Freshmen/Beginners) – The rank given to all starting members. At this academy rank, a student is still learning the basic skills for combat. They also do simple tasks given by the Illuminati and academy teachers. A freshmen level is required to either stay in class (by role playing solo or with someone) or perform simple tasks given by a prefect in order to gain progress.


Sengir (Sophomores) – The rank given to those who either excelled or remained active in the academy for a year (1 month). Sengir students have already mastered the basic skills and are engaged for training combats. A Sengir student is required to do any of the following in order to gain progress:


• Stay in class (Role play). (Solo role-playing requires a minimum of 500 words per post and 3 post counts.); or
  
• Combat train with a same rank or higher ranked knight.


Ravisir (Juniors) – The rank given to a person who either excelled or remained active in the academy for two years (2 months). Juniors are experienced students. They have gained the knowledge of offense and defense but haven’t mastered it yet. They are authorized to go out of the campus, into the open, and engage combat with real vampires AS LONG AS accompanied by a senior student or a higher (than senior) ranked vampire. A junior student is required to do any of the following in order to gain progress:


• Stay in class (Role play). (Solo role-playing requires a minimum of 700 words and 5 post counts.); or
  
• Combat train with a vanadisir student or higher (than vanadisir) ranked vampire of the academy; or
  
• Accomplish tasks/missions on the outside world while being accompanied by a Vandisir or higher ranked knight; or
  
• Slay a player/npc enemy. (Boss npc’s are controlled by a mod or an admin.)


Vanadisir (Seniors) – The graduating level of students. Considered as official vampire knights. As seniors, students can go out of the school premises and engage combat on the outside world. Having mastered the important skills, they are assigned with dangerous missions, that sometimes even a failure to accomplish such mission would cause death. In order to gain progress and graduate, a senior student is required to do the following by order:


• First, accomplish at least four Level-3 missions; then
  
• A combat topic against player/s with a minimum of 15 post counts; and finally
  
• A 1,500-word minimum of your graduation role-play topic


Knight of Dawn – Graduates and certified Vampire Hunters. Being humans and ex-humans, they are all usually hired by the town people to deal with vampire attacks. They can also be the teachers of the day class in the academy.


Knight of Dusk – Graduates and certified Vampire Hunters. Being vampires, they are only hired by men who believe that their inhuman strength can help them. They can also be the teachers of the night class in the academy.


Knights of Dawn and Dusk are the highest rank attainable at the moment. In order to gain progress, one is required to do the following:


• Kill a vampire/hunter, can be player or npc. (solo vs. npc role playing requires a minimum of 1000 words and 5 post counts.); and
  
• Accomplish level 3 missions.

There are some special ranks that only specific members can get. Here are some of those ranks:

Prefects (Moderators only) – Selected group of officers dedicated to keep the peace and order between the Humans and Vampires. Each of the four student levels (Kvasir, Sengir, Ravisir, and Vanadisir) has their respective prefects. Two students from each level will be assigned as prefects, one for the Day students (humans) and one for the Night students (vampires).

Nothing will change for gaining progress. A Prefect is still required to perform the necessary tasks of his rank/level to gain progress. They will be given authorization to moderate a thread to maintain the forums.


Headmaster/Headmistress – Chairman of the academy. There can only be one, either a human or a vampire. He/She have the right and power to accept or dismiss students in the academy. Having the title means greater responsibility, for regulating peace and order. Only a graduate vampire hunter can have this title.

And then, there are some ranks that a person can gain through their Honor rank:

Luminosity Guardian – students/vamp. hunters who reached level 10 Honor rank.


Luminosity Bringer – students/vamp. hunters who reached level 15 Honor rank.
